PERFECT is the only term that can qualify this outstanding establishment : impoising and manor like exteriorly, but happily surrounded by beautiful ground and flowers. Warm welcome on arrival, fantastic, spacious room where no comfort or detail is missing, very good bed AND armchairs, very quiet. Spacious and pleasant bar and restaurant, and the best food we’ve had among the 10 hotels we’ve stayed at during our trip. It is truly wonderful to end our journey on such a wonderful note. Friendly and helpful staff. My granddaughter came with me to settle into my room, and we had a 14 montb old with us. We were able to use the breakfast room to feed the baby. Very pleased with this as they weren't staying. Had a view of the market place ftom my room.

Station Hotel has en suite rooms in a town-centre location. The restaurant offers home cooking at reasonable prices. Melrose Abbey is close by.

Great inn off the beaten track! The hotel is across from an ruined Abbey and along a river, where you could easily vision people fly fishing. Can easily vision this place for a wedding destination. They had several sitting rooms you were able to sit at, and there were picnic tables outside. We were able to book for dinner and the menu was very good. Our stay included breakfast and again the food was good -- you could order pretty much anything you wanted. The room was a pleasant surprise -- very spacious and we enjoyed having a sitting area. IF you are looking for somewhere away from the hustle and bustle of life than you should check the place out. Definetly a spot i would return to!

The room was bright and clean. The bed was comfy. The shower was great! The breakfast was very hearty. The afternoon tea with delicious scones was wonderful. No one makes scones like those at the Tontine! Location fantastic.
