Warm welcome & amazing room with 4 poster bed & delightful bathroom with dressing area. Dinner was very nice with good choices as was our breakfast. Staff were friendly,, welcoming & efficient. Golf course en-route to the hotel & walks close by; along the old tow path of the Barnsley canal, we didn’t go too far as unsure where it lead. Other footpath walks close by.

Lovely setting we stayed over the bridge on the island. Friendly welcome from Leigh and a pleasant room with a view of the bridge. We ate in Charlie's Bar where the staff were more than helpful and the food delicious.
We held our annual charity golf day on one of the worst rainy days, however the staff at the Golf Club were fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure our day went ahead, followed by a lovely meal for 50 guests.
Thank you very much.

Breakfast was OK. Good selection but cooked items looked like they were kept in a bain marie for too long.
Surroundings attractive with large lake and golf course.
