Set directly on the riverbank of the Danube, the family-run Gasthof Haselberger offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant serves home-made cuisine and local wine. Lovely family, lovely hotel. Excellent food and the location couldn't have been any closer to the Danube cycle path. Breakfast was incredible, bikes had secure storage. Perfect place to stop and great accommodations for our group of 8 cyclists.

Hotel Schachner is located in the town of Maria Taferl, close to the basilica. It offers views of the Alps and the Danube River. Staff, enviroment, view, welness, cleaness everything was exceptional.

In Total we enjoyed our stay. Also on my previous stays in other self check in hostels sometimes it is difficult to contact with reception and get answer shortly . But I liked that the Hostel contacted me via whatsapp before i reached hostel and was answering all questions. Beds are comfortable.
