We had an outstanding stay. The property is beautifully manicured with gorgeous gardens, comfortable outdoor sitting areas, and all the amenities are provided. The bedroom is large, spacious and comfortable. So is the bathroom. Breakfast is a self-serve continental style with juice, coffee, tea, yogurt, a wide range of cereals, toast, jam, Vegemite, and peanut butter. I must give extra kudos to whoever made the bread for the toast as it is delicious! I chose the potato and rosemary bread and highly recommend it. This place is walking distance between two areas that have numerous coffee shops, cafes, restaurants, barbershops, grocery stores, and all kinds of nail salons and spa services. We walked 1.5 km to the ferry which took us to downtown Brisbane for only $.50! It is a great way to get around and see the sites from the river, and the ferries come every 10-15 minutes. Be sure to ride the ferry after dark as the nighttime lights of the city are spectacular! The host, Brian, was there to greet us and give us the lay of the land. He was very kind and helpful, and then he disappeared for the rest of our stay to give us our privacy. We loved being able to do our laundry! I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. It is truly a home away from home.

First, staff are responsive. We were visiting as a family and all our requests and selfishness were taken care of. There is a gym, swimming pool and BBQ area attached and available. There is a lake within walking distance and a shopping mall. We had no problems with food and were comfortable. Our room had two bedrooms and two showers each, so my family could use them without having to fight for them. I am really impressed by the staff, they are too nice. There was another hotel that was on the shortlist, but the whole family says they are happy here. I really appreciate it.
