Very close to Emerald lake and Wapta falls. The sky bridge was closed due to the wildfires but there is plenty to keep you busy

We wish we stayed longer! But we stopped here just one night to break up a long drive. Seems like an amazing place to stay during the ski season. Check-in/check-out were easy.

Golden's city centre is 6km away, which is a 10 minutes drive by car while Golden Golf Club is 5km away. The Alpine Meadows Lodge is a lovely hotel in Golden. Its position is perfect for exploring most of the national parks of the Canadian Rockies, as Golden is located between the Glacier and Yoho National Parks, and it is still not far from Banff and Jasper National Parks. The hotel is built in a traditional mountain style, it is clean and very nicely made and furnished. Medha, the owner and manager, as well as the staff are superfriendly, kind, and very attentive :) There is always access to the room where you can have tea and coffee at any time of the day. It is strongly recommended as base to explore this beautiful area of Canada.

Golden Golf Club is 12 km away. The Village Skating Rink is 5 minutes’ walking distance from this property. Visit the Grizzly Bear Refuge only 13 minutes' trail walk away. We had an awesome overnight stay at Glacier Lodge. Super easy check in, friendly staff. Under hotel parking. Excellent mountain views on 2 sides (corner apartment) plus balcony. Super comfy bed, kitchenette with everything, good bathroom, hot shower, quiet location. Chair and gondola right behind hotel. Food options only a short stroll away. Hardly any people. Snow, snow and more snow.

Alpine Rafting is located next to Days Inn by Wyndham Golden. Golden Golf Club is a 12-minute drive away. Rafting, golf, ski and sled packages are available on site. A good sized room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good with a choice of hot or cold food. The staff were helpful and friendly and the views were amazing.
