Breakfast was extremely good with boiled egg, croissants, muffins, beagles, yoghurt and a delicious fresh fruit salad. The host was very kind and discrete. She gave us a tip to have dinner at the Crow & Gate pub. The pub was located somewhat remote but was in a beautiful building with an amazing garden where one could enjoy traditional pub food in the evening sun.

Campbell River town centre is 20 minutes’ drive away. Storey Creek Golf & Recreation Society is 8 km from Oyster Bay Resort. Proprietor was wonderful, allowed a 1 hour late check out for we bikers to minimize the amount of time biking in the rain.
