Housed in a building dating from 1908, this homestay is 19 km from Grindelwald Terminal and 22 km from Giessbachfälle. The homestay provides garden views and a picnic area. There are all amenities you need, a lot of space for everyone, even the possibility to eat in the garden. If we are going back in the future, we will definitely check for the availability of this accommodation again. We had 2 apartments, both of the same quality so I am sharing this review with both of them.

Chalet Maria Interlaken is a traditional Swiss chalet with a garden, located in the heart of Interlaken. The apartment is only 250 meters away from the nearest train station and other public transport. I feel like home here. You can find anything here. Room is spacious for 3 people — look like an apartment inside. Kitchen has everything even cooking oil or a rice cooker. Bathroom even has the hand-held bidet! So detailed! And the owner is very service minded, helping us to carry 2 big luggage (20+ kg) up to our room. So, you don’t have to worry even there is no lift, you won’t have the problem. Location is something to mention. The view from the room is the river and mountain — super beautiful!!! Plus, it’s close to Interlaken West station. So, everything is so convenient.

Consisting of 3 separate chalets, the CityChalet is located next to the Aare River, 300 metres from the centre of Interlaken. Each apartment has a balcony or terrace overlooking the garden or the Jungfrau Massif. Free Wi-Fi is available. Bedrooms are enough for 6 people to stay comfortably. The house is very clean. Kitchen is fully equipped you can cook everything. Coop and a small market are so close.
