Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi.

The rooms have a flat-screen TV with many international channels. The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms. The small electric shuttle to take you to hotel is so cute. The young male receptionist was so polite & attentive (gave me water as I was working in the lounge area. The room I chose was small, but didn't feel small at all. It had everything I needed. Bathrooms on main floor are extremely clean. Breakfast was fantastic/ ALTHOUGH, there was no decaf coffee option :( . If I was returning to Zermatt, I would definitely return to Jägerhof!

The rooms were renovated in 2017 and feature a TV with cable channels, a telephone, a radio, a minibar and a safe. The bathrooms are equipped with a hairdryer, free toiletries and bathrobes. The staffs are perfect. They gave information more than enough. Without their advice I could not decide to go up the Mathehorn as soon as I arrived the hotel. The day after the weather was not good, so Mathehorn could not be seen. The spa was wonderful, and breakfast was also good. Lovely hotel.

Our room was on the backside and although the place seemed busy in the lobby our room was quiet. We decided to have dinner at DaVinchi. The staff accommodated us and we ate in the common area. The food was great.

It comfortable for us with family and two kids. We reached this property little late. Google address pointing slight deviated location, but it is just behind it. The information provided by the host, worked well. Parking is in front of the property, can park even in open area near by. Very friendly host.

At the same time, it is extremely close to the village (15 minutes walking distance). In addition, there is a private transport service organised by the hotel, which was extremely convenient for skiing. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. They go the extra mile to make your stay nothing less than perfect, and do so while creating a very personal atmosphere. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which offers a very good selection of local and European dishes, and the wine selection is exquisite. Even though the rating of the WiFi on this website is a bit lower, the hotel fixed this convincingly by providing you with a wifi receiver to take to the room. This fully solved any issue that might have been there in the past, since the wireless internet worked perfectly.

The accommodation provides room service, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. Everything was perfect. Good view of Matterhorn. Vibe was welcoming and relaxing. Food selection was superb. Spa (and onsen) was amazing as well. Regret not staying here for more nights.
