Our room was very pleasant, the furniture and objects were chosen with great taste, the shower was very comfortable, and the bed allowed us to enjoy a truly restful night. The breakfast room is the jewel of the place: the furniture and tableware are beautiful, the cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, and jams are delicious, the warm bread releases a gentle steam when broken, and Gunnar is busy in the kitchen preparing pancakes. The hosts are charming—we hope to return someday, as they have created a haven of peace and good taste. The region also has some very interesting towns, such as Aabenraa with its fascinating harbor. A heartfelt thank you to Gunnar and Claudia for offering us this little cocoon.

You get a really individual set up. From the menu to decoration and wedding cake. They do their best to fulfill all your wishes. We will always remember that special day. Thanks a lot for having us and the warm welcome. The home made gløgg is excellent as well. For our wedding we stayed at the lovely apartments in Augustenborg Garden right next to the Café. That was a perfect fit.

The room is stylish with a very comfortable large bed. There is plenty of storage space. The bathroom is luxurious. The lounge area is spacious with a large, comfortable couch. Everything seems new, or at least newly updated, spotlessly clean, and meticulously maintained. The location is on the main road but the room was very quiet. We did not hear any street noise. The optional breakfast was delicious and well worth the small extra charge. We had enough left over to pack picnic lunches. Birgitte is delightful host. She greeted us warmly and made sure our stay was perfect. She even allowed us to park our tandem bike in her garage and loaned us a garage door remote.
