Lovely apartment and host was nice. Excellent location for Chester Zoo and Cheshire Oaks outlet. Everything we needed for a short stay, bed was nice and comfortable. The apartment is of an excellent standard and the location superb. The whole process was easy from beginnining to end and we were kept well informed by the owners because of some work being carried out to the exterior. This did not detract from our stay, and we will be stopping there again for sure.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. There were tea and coffee facilities with a mini fridge and storage space for clothes. There was a huge bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom had plenty of towel hooks, plus shampoo and shower gel. The shower had great water pressure and the temperature was easy to control. It was exactly what I was looking for in a picturesque place with canals, pubs and cafes nearby. There are lovely areas to walk around, including the dam and surrounding forest, and the canals. I arrived by bus and left by taxi, and I found it simple enough to move around without using a car.

Stayed for one night,excellent room which was separate from the main building, parking right outside the door, smart room great bathroom and shower. The pub itself is first class, extremely quirky, cracking food, great breakfast, and extensive range of drinks. Set in a nice Cheshire village, could not fault it

I always try and stay at this hotel when I visit Oulton Park each year. The owners are so lovely, especially as I was travelling on my own. They know their clientele so there are options to get breakfast to take away, or a small selection to grab and go in a fridge upstairs if you need to leave earlier than when breakfast begins.
