The bedroom was quiet and cool, which is important for sleeping. The property has an excellent location near the centre of Rye. We could enjoy St Marys church and the Mermaid Inn but also a wonderful early morning walk across the dewy meadows to Winchelsea railway station. The path for that walk was very close to the property. We finished our visit with a brief visit to Camber Sands.

The Kelp House is an absolutely lovely place, decorated to a very high standard throughout with real plants. Me and my young daughter didn't feel like going out much as we were so comfy... Also very large smart TV with great choice of films and series.

Plenty of power points.

Rachael made this stay absolutely amazing for us! The house was beautiful and in a great location, the breakfast so tasty and the bed was so so comfy (I didn't want to leave). On the first night Rachael kindly left us the whole house to ourselves so we felt like we'd hit the jackpot as we enjoyed the sofa and some TV time as the weather was poor! Rachael gave us lots of local recommendations for the area and we thoroughly enjoyed our whole stay in this house.
