This was just wonderful, I’d have stayed longer had it been available. Such a cutely furnished tiny house. The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

Martyn and Louise are the most relaxed and warmest of hosts, yet they work so hard to deliver for their guests. They have created a beautiful, luxurious, and unique property that delivers a very personal experience. My partner and I stayed in the Balmain Room. Every detail had been thought of; two pieces of lemon drizzle cake in the room as a welcome was a lovely touch. The room is beauitfully appointed, very spacious with views on the beautiful grounds that surround the house, and it's own separate entrance (only the Balmain room has this I think) The bed is huge and super comfortable, we slept so well. The bathroom is also spacious and luxurious. Breakfast is made to order each morning, in addition to a breakfast buffet that you can help yourself to. Louise bakes all the cakes herself and they are superb. This is a stay I will always remember.

Nice touch with the bottle of red wine and the guest information booklet, made me feel well looked after by the hosts.

Beautiful home with beautiful rooms. Every thing was clean and the info book had helpful information in it. Genny was very quick to respond the one time I messaged her with a question during my stay. And she even messaged to warn about weather the next day. Also - it’s so convenient to get to Slains Castle from here. And the breakfast set up was so detailed and well done.

Bed very comfortable, the flat is in a quiet backyard and yet it's in the center very close to pub, café, bus stop etc. Highly recommended.
