Basically everything! Pleasantly, we were upgraded upon arrival to a wonderful, spacious, light and comfortable room. Staff were very attentive, showed us through the hotel’s lovely facilities and booked us into the restaurant where we had an amazing evening meal. Bed was heavenly comfortable where we slept peacefully followed by an exceptional breakfast. The grounds and spa facilities also excellent. A truly luxurious stay!!

Located in the centre of Edinburgh, just a few minutes’ walk from the Royal Mile and 650 yards of The Real Mary King's Close, Market Street forms part of Edinburgh’s historic skyline. Great location! Friendly staff, Bed room had the nicest amenities.

Set in Ullapool, Harbour House has a garden. This guest house offers luggage storage space and free WiFi. The private bathroom is fitted with a bath or shower. The room was clean, location of the hotel is okay, just a few minutes in to the city. Breakfast was great

Set in Pitlochry, 5 km from Killiecrankie, Westlands of Pitlochry has a garden. This 4-star bed and breakfast offers free WiFi. The bed and breakfast provides a shared lounge. Good location, rooms are spacious and everything is clean. A lot of options for breakfast, and it was really good.

The owners of this property put other establishments in Scotland to shame. From the minute we arrived the staff could not have been more attentive if they tried. Every matter was attended to immediately. The room was immaculately clean, the beds comfortable and the bathrooms equipped to a high standard. The public areas are warm and inviting and there is always a member of staff available to attend to any needs. Dinner, especially the “bobotie” was sublime, as was the full Scottish breakfast the following morning. On leaving the following morning the staff again were available in force, assisting guests as required and giving advice on routes and the best roads to take. This hotel is operated especially to accommodate motorcyclists and at this they excel but don’t let this put you off if you are a mere traveller, you will not be disappointed especially considering the poor standard of accommodation we endured across Scotland on our recent road trip. Again thank you to all the staff of The Buccleuch Arms, we will be back.

Just a few steps from Anstruther’s harbour and marina, with views over the Firth of Forth, The Waterfront offers 4-star bed and breakfast accommodation with free Wi-Fi. The rooms were beautifully renovated. So comfortable and plenty of space. Great location on the waterfront of quaint Anstruther. Breakfast was lovely the next morning too. Our favorite place on our two week trip to Scotland.

Winners of Guest House of the Year 2019 and 2018 at The Scottish Hotel Awards and the AA's Scottish B&B of the Year 2019, Craigmhor Lodge & Courtyard is set in private wooded grounds and offers free... We were upgraded to the courtyard and the room/bathroom were beautiful. We sat outside enjoying the spring sunshine. Breakfast next morning was delicious.
