This unique 18th-century inn is situated between Winchester Cathedral and the college, tucked away in the quietest corner of the city. The city-centre is a 5-minute walk away. The room was so pretty and comfy, the staff very friendly and the food was great!

It was a wonderful location, the facilities were very good, my son loved the pool, the lodge was exceptional, it had everything we needed for our stay plus lots of toys for my son to play with, the beds were comfortable and the layout was perfect, it was nice to have 2 bathrooms available. The lodge location was also perfect, it is close to the facilities but not too close and we enjoyed walking around the fairy wood, the little shop was also useful for items we forgot. All in all a perfect place for a wonderful holiday.

The owner left us plenty of little things which made a real difference, including water, cookies, and everything needed in the kitchen. Location was perfect for nice country walks or access to the rest of the area. Loved seeing the ponies and donkeys just across the road.
