Lovely view, staff exceptional from breakfast servers to reception to rooms made up daily. They were also Professional, fun and informative. The shared space / siderooms are fantastic, will definitely stay here again. Our first time to Scarborough was made that much more comfortable with our excellent care here, thank you!

Just 10 minutes' travel by bus from York Railway Station, Ascot House is a 15-minute walk from York Minster. It offers award-winning breakfasts, elegant bedrooms, free WiFi, and free parking. Breakfast was to die for, the room was clean, the place was quiet, and the staff was super wonderful. Ms Wood brings it all together like a well-oiled machine and we always look forward to going again next year.

Impeccable location for my trip and added bonus of EV chargers in the car park. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, replying to my queries ahead of my stay and even supplying me with a mini fridge for my room.

Set in the iconic Grade II listed former railway headquarters, it has bedrooms that feature free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes, slippers, Molton Brown... Location is 5 star and a very short walk to the centre of the old town with the old town wall direction opposite the hotel. The room was spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds. The buffet breakfast had everything you would want. Staff were really friendly and helpful. I would definately choose to stay again.

Great staff, perfect location, delicious breakfast included and proper British pub staples for dinner. Interior was perfect for the area, all warm and cozy in tartan and leather, especially the bar.
