Large rooms, plenty of space to sit and relax. Very well equipped kitchen to make your meals if you wish. Renovation is done with good taste and honoring the old house. Nice back garden too. Parking was easy, lots of parking slots just outside the house. We went to see the bog and had a nice walk there (The Abbeyleix Bog Project).

It was a very cool experience staying in the Forum Mountmellick. The bedrooms were very clean and the beds super comfy. The kids loved the bunk beds. The power in the showers was super. The renovated church, kitchen and eating areas were all fantastic and there was a lovely calm and relaxed atmosphere throughout the accommodation. Our host Colette was extremely welcoming and a great source of information about the local area. The accommodation is a great base to visit loads of really great attractions in Loais and there are some lovely takeaways in the town too, so you can bring dinner back and enjoy in the Forum. Overall our stay was fantastic and we would highly recommend staying at the Forum Mountmellick.
