In Athlone's lively centre, this 4-star Sheraton Hotel has a 20-metre pool, a luxury spa, free internet and free parking. Such a comfortable room, loved the pool, loved the breakfast and all the staff were very helpful abd friendly. It was just the type of stay that we needed after a few stressful days of travelling in a foreign country.

On the West bank of the River Shannon, Shannonside House is set within large, private gardens. Guests can enjoy home cooking and free parking, and Athlone's centre is a 5-minute walk away. Our first accommodation during our tour around Ireland. Absolutely amazing breakfast. Nice people and good place.

Blackbrink cottage is a nice home in the middle of the irish countryside, be ready for one or more good nights of sleep ! John is a nice and knowledgeable host and will make sure everything in your stay is perfect. The bedroom was really comfy with a view on the lake and John's sheep, we really had the quiestest night here. Breakfast is awesome and you'll get plenty of food to choose from, freshly cooked.
