We had a wonderful room with all amenities and bathroom needs waiting for us. A wonderful night's sleep was had on a very comfortable bed. On our two days stay Elizabeth prepared a very personal breakfast for us each morning that was to die for. We left well fed for the day. With nice grounds to sit out in the sunshine or the guests personal reading room, adequate on-site parking. We wished we could have stopped longer but we had to head off to a certain Golf tournament that was being held at Royal Portrush. We look forward to returning at the first opportunity. The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking, golfing and fishing. Everything about this property is fabulous. Tucked away down country lanes , set on a river. Our welcome was warm and genuine. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly even though they were dealing with a roomful of people.We liked the food so much we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Definitely worth a detour.
