The manager was so friendly and helpful. We were there during a quiet time so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Everything was great. Easy access, nice view of the sea. Bed was comfy and the room was very quiet even though right on the main strip. Close to the bus drop. The train is about 25 min walk away. We walked up the mountain to Taormina which wasn’t too bad. Plenty of cafes and restaurants right outside your door.

B&B La Terrazza Sul Mare Taormina is within 800 metres of the centre of Taormina and the cable car to Isola Bella. It features a terrace with sea views and free Wi-Fi throughout. The host was very welcoming and helpful. He provided us with a map he made himself and spent a long time explaining the optimum itinerary so we could visit the main attractions in one afternoon.. the room was comfortable and nicely decorated . The view from the terrace is exceptional. Breakfast was nice and prepared with fresh ingredients.

Nice to hear birds chirping and see butterflies from the wrap around balcony. Washing machine and clothes horse a plus. Microwave, coffee machines, kettle and all items needed for cooking. Beach towels provided on request. Good location, 5 mins walk to supermarket, 10 mins to main street that is buzzing.with many great restaurants and bars. Did 2 tours with Excursions Sicily, with driver Antonio. Mt Etna tour plus lunch and Godfather tour - fantastic. Beach at Giardini Naxos 15 mins by bus. Would recommend Lido da Angelo. Loved the ocean swimming. Castlemola worth a visit too by bus. We loved everything about MediterraneanApartment. I would highly recommend this apartment. I stayed for a month and enjoyed the jazz festival and Simple Minds concert. Never bored in Taormina. Ill be back next year for sure.

The hosts are just amazing. When we needed to go to the hospital, struggled with the language and the hospital staff didn't know any English, the Kalaskiso' staff went with us to the hospital as interpreters, twice!! True kindness. They really helped out our situation. Without their help, everything would have been much more difficult for us.
