Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Meget fredelig omgivelse. If I could give ten stars I would! Our stay was amazing! Everything from staff to location to food was great! You can’t beat the location within mountains next to a beautiful river! Onsen facilities were gorgeous! Staff all spoke English perfectly and were extremely thoughtful and kind! They even called me on our way there to make sure we can make it to the dinner!

They speak English and take care of their guests as family. 2 wonderful private onsen. Beautiful hike along the river just behind the hotel. Just remember this is bear country so sing your way through the hike.

There’s a communal kitchen and living room for use as well as a private onsen that you can reserve. Hiro, the host, is very accommodating and will provide rides when needed. His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.

Everything was spotless and gave us a vibrant, homely feeling from the moment we arrived. The check-in and check-out processes were extremely easy and accessible. All the details were clearly provided, and the staff replied to our questions almost immediately through the chat. I would definitely have stayed longer to disconnect and enjoy the surrounding nature. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from a bus stop with direct connections to the main train station. Highly recommended. The photos match the reality perfectly.

The onsen was another highlight—clean and soothing Most importantly, the hospitality here goes above and beyond. The host was incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. We felt truly cared for, like guests in someone’s cherished home. Hakone Fura is an absolute gem. We can’t wait to return.
