I've never before felt such peace and warmth in a hostel. This place is special. The owner is an amazing person: very helpful and attentive, and he gives good tips about places to see in the area. He even gave me advice regarding my future travel plans! Everything in the hostel was clean and well maintained. The dorm room bed was very comfortable, the best night's sleep I've ever had in a hostel. Some credit for that good sleep must be given to the general feeling of safety: all solo female travelers out there, I highly recommend this place! One of the best things for me was the view to the garden and to Mt. Fuji, visible from the common room window. If you need to take a break from busy travel schedules, or need a breather after exhausting yourself in Tokyo, take a vacation from your vacation and check out this hostel. Slow down a bit. Sit by the window, drink a cup of tea and take in the view.

Wafu Guesthouse Kashiwaya ligger 5 minutters gang fra Kawaguchiko Station og 7 minutters kørsel fra Kawaguchiko Interchange på Chuo Expressway. After several days in impersonal Tokyo hotels, this lovely guesthouse was so restorative. The staff is wonderful - always friendly and welcoming. The room is cosy and nice. Location is excellent. The shabu-shabu dinner that can be ordered for an extra fee was really good, and a great experience.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Location, rooms, staff, food, everything was wonderful!

Overnatningsstedet har boblebad.... The property is new and modern. The space is spacious for our group of 8 people with 4 rooms. We had a great time bbq-ing outside. The host provided all the utensils needed for cooking which is a plus. There was also a dishwasher. The view of mount fuji was beautiful in the morning. One of the rooms even had a balcony with the view of mount fuji. Wish we stayed for another night.

The hospitality of the hosts was exemplary. Their food, service and the extra efforts in making our stay comfortable made this 1 night stay memorable. The host dropped us off at the bus station 15 mins away on the next day to catch our bus to Mishima train station which was a bonus that I did not expect when making this

Near the lake with swans and Mount Fiji view. Near a convenient shop by car. Staff were super friendly and polite. Would stay there again.

Perfect view of Mt Fuji from the balcony! Supermarket is only a few mins drive away, or walkable. House is very clean and comfortable to stay in. Vibes are super cosy!
