Wild Thyme is situated a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. Jules and Bruce were very welcoming and hospitable. Great to be picked up from the ferry and they were happy to run us around locally if required. Really helpful suggestions on where to go to see and eat and walks etc. Very comfortable room with everything you need for breakfast but no kitchen per se. Nice touch to have milk and a bottle of fizz in the fridge.

The views are so stunning that it's actually hard to go out and do stuff! Everything is here that you could possibly need. The hot tub was perfect for our winter break for a warm soak and to soothe aching muscles from all the walking we did on the island. So handy for all the wineries and activities around Onetangi Beach and Valley, and just a short drive or bus ride to everything else.

We were staying as an extended family group and it suited us perfectly. The master bedroom is enormous, as is its ensuite. Beds are really comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed the garden beanbags on the deck, swing and bean bag toss game! Heat pump in living area kept it cosy on chilly spring mornings. 3/4min drive to Oneroa and 1 min walk to Surfdale shops!
