The 4-star Octant Furnas is located in São Miguel Island, in Vale das Furnas, site of the largest concentration of thermal waters in Europe. Staff were superb, particularly Fernando in the restaurant. The little touches on arrival in the bedroom were lovely.

My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!

I would never go back to a hotel in São Miguel once experiencing this beautiful Quintã. Claudia and Nicole were amazing and very attentive to our needs daily. My kids always looked forward coming back after exploring the beauty of this island. You felt free to enjoy the property and all its amenities. Amazing vacation that my kids and I will treasure forever.

We arrived late on Christmas Eve, and while the city was closed tight the next morning, Ana had thoughtfully stocked the villa with eggs, cheese, and other essentials. She even went above and beyond to return some items we forgot in the closet by delivering them to the reception of our next hotel. Outstanding hospitality!
