Three House Hotel có hồ bơi ngoài trời, trung tâm thể dục, khu vườn và sân hiên ở Funchal. We travel a lot, around the world, and this was by far the best hotel we ever stayed in. The most hotels are all the same no matter where you are. But this hotel stand out in every way, not sure we can mention all. It seems like that the management asked themselves : what do guests really want - and they found every little detail. Beside that all the basics are outstanding, this hotel exceeded in so many ways. The staff is exceptionally helpful, friendly and knows the answers to all questions or requests, no matter what. Both Marcio and Sidónio were excellent, always there for us. The small details everywhere around, the possibility to wash cloth, the provided purified water, we could continue endlessly. The interior of the whole hotel is stylish and the apartment too. The rooftop is a dream, the pool is warm in winter and we swam 1000 m nearly everyday. We stayed for 3 weeks in December, and when not hiking the mountains, we spend the days in the hotel, on the rooftop just enjoying life. The sustainability level of the hotel is high, and there is no plastic at all. The jazz concerts in Wednesday were a spoil! We ate at the restaurant at least ones per day, delicious every single time. Since we do not rent a car but use public buses (try it!), the location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the bus station, and you get easily around. The vibe and atmosphere is so smooth and relaxed. For us it really was a home, and we booked already our 4 weeks stay next winter.

Featuring free WiFi, São Francisco Accommodation is a renovated building with 6 floors and a lift. It offers modern rooms in Funchal, within a 5-minute walk from the harbour. It's a small hotel in the historic center walking distance to a lot of the places you would like to see in Funchal. The room and facilities are simple, modern, comfortable, and clean, The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast (included in the room price) is basic but sufficient for my needs, with a variety of breads, cereal, cold cuts cheese, hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, coffee/tea etc. The AC in the room worked well. I would happily stay here again if I returned to Funchal.

Staying at Bordal Houses made our Madeira trip wonderful. Our house was very cosy, exclusive, well-designed, comfortable, we had everything we needed. We loved the pool, enjoyed our breakfast in the garden and adored all the days spent in this lovely place. Special thanks to Susana for her incredible chocolate cake!

Everything is new, comfortable, clean and cosy. Own parking is nearby the apartment. Spectacular sea view, we enjoyed with sunrise! The owner (Dana) was very friendly and explained all the details about the apartment and surroundings. We stayed in December and for us it was important that the apartment has electrical radiators for heating that you can manage inside temperature yourself. Highly recommend this nice place!

Loved our stay, Lynne to owner was lovely and so helpful with giving us lifts to and from the airport bus stop. She had supplied some food and drink to get us started which was really nice and helpful. Property was spotless and had everything we needed for a great week in Medeira. I would highly recommend and would love to stay here again

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, Sara gave us a warm and friendly welcome, making us feel right at home. The house is fully equipped with everything you could need, and the highlight was definitely the jacuzzi on the terrace! The kids absolutely loved the inflatable toys and games provided, which kept them entertained for hours. And let’s not forget the cozy hammock, perfect for unwinding with a good book (from the personal library of Sara) or simply enjoying the surroundings. This place had everything we needed for a perfect family vacation, and we enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and fun stay with kids!

Location in old town in an easily walkable area near shops and restaurants. Property host was responsive and organized transfer to airport for 3am. Definitely would stay here again.
