I spent 4 nights. The Partenope is well located. Angra is small town and everything is reachable by foot. Also Mounte Brasil hike. Car can be parked for free on the same or close-by street. It is great place to explore whole island and come back in the evening for quality restaurants. The place itself is recently renovated and well kept, clean and comfortable. The host has been wonderfully helpful and I liked the breakfasts included in the price. This enabled me convenient early starts for hikes round the island. All in all great value!

Beautiful view of ocean from property Umbrellas and generous pool furniture The hostess is wonderfully welcoming and kind. She is always working hard to run the property. She was particularly kind to my children who sat on her couch ( they don’t normally get much screen time )for tv occasionally downtime.

Caparica Azores Ecolodge is a project conceived as a generous and open place in its conception and operation, dedicated to meetings and exchange of ideas. The breakfast was a selection of everything I love to eat. There was fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits, breads, cereal s, Amazing coffees of your choice, and eggs made any style. The hosts was friendly and helpful with all things asked. Can’t get over the wonderful sound of the birds everywhere.

The house itself: a traditional little house in a typical neighbourhood, with a nice little garden. The proximity to the airport: only 21 minutes walk with our luggage. And, of course, the very friendly host and her little attentions.

Francisco and Lucília renovated their old family estate and converted the summer house next to it into a rental apartment and rooms. The apartment is not fancy or modern like many rental apartments. However, we found it convenient, with everything we needed, and gave us some feeling of family life in Terceira. The quinta is surrounded by a wall and the large garden provides an atmosphere of tranquility and beauty. Having breakfast with Francisco and Lucília in their interesting house gave us some understanding of life of a community on a small island. We would have been happy to continue talking for a few more hours. It was an experience very different from our other stays in the Azores. We highly recommend it.

The views, the pool, the attention to every detail, the luxurious decor, everything was perfect. We stayed for four nights in the family suite upstairs (the one with the big balcony) it had the feel of a five star hotel but only having three rooms it felt homely & it was very very easy to relax. I really didn’t want to leave. The town of Angra is only a 15 min walk along the promenade where you’ll find lots of great places to eat. Our favourite spot was Taberna do Teatro, a great team serving really great food. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Silveira Bay Longe Retreat. For us, it was perfect.

Well appointed rooms and large open space. A large terrace and great views. A short hike into town made the location perfect for our stay. Our host Fabio was welcoming, accommodating and very helpful. It made for a wonderful couple days.
