The hosts were absolutely beautiful. They immediately made you feel like a part of their family, so welcoming and kind. They are a wonderful family and you will feel very safe and at home with them. The mum made a delicious and very generous amount of food for breakfast. It’s incredible value for money, couldn’t be happier with the hosts and the food they provided.

So long as you're relatively fit, the steep climb through Mangalen is well worth it to enjoy the historical splendour of this area. The accommodation is not far from the top, where there are open top cafes/restaurants with panoramic views. Further below, several more restaurants (especially like the one with a wine bell). The property overlooks Berat new town with its huge and busy promenade. The owner is a professor who has studied Albanian history and staying here encompasses a lot of that history. The hosts are lovely and passionate about their Albanian heritage. The room has a very comfortable and large double bed, with good aircon and wifi. There is a communal lounge with tea/coffee making facilities.

Lovely family that took amazing care of us. Rooms were super clean and beautiful. Location was amazing, very close to the centre and a lovely local neighbourhood. Owners gave us good recommendations about what to do in the area. Super tasty and big breakfast. The host Ada is very sweet and caring. She helps you with everything and works to make you comfortable. There was no parking space but she arranged a space for us. The rooms were clean and good. The breakfast was also very delicious. You should definitely watch the magnificent view from the hotel terrace. When we come back, this will be the place we will stay again. Thank you Ada :)
