The hospitality of the guests is unmatched, we felt very welcome and had an incredible stay. The rooms are spatious and cozy, the bathroom is very comfortable and everything is clean. We want to come back, this is one of the best places we've stayed at.

An Armenian breakfast to die for! You have to try it! The place was great, clean and comfortable and the host Sahak was super friendly and welcoming, it was super easy to understand each other with Google translate! They also had cute kitties! Totally recommended!

The most lovely welcome, with a home made spread of jams and cake, and (had i seen it in time) the offer of picking me up from where I landed. Emer, the host, and his wife Arpine could not have done more to make me feel at home. The rooms (only 2 at present) are brand new, with crisp linen and soft towels. I arrived in December, and the electric radiator was on. Plenty of hot water too (there are solar panels on the roof). Breakfast was plentiful - fresh fruit, eggs (they have their own chickens), various home made jams and preserves, cheese, tea and Nesscafe. I loved meeting the family and felt very much at home. Emer speaks excellent Russian. He has organised a tour of remote monasteries (requiring a 4-wheel drive) with an outstanding guide - Norik, who I could not recommend enough. I sincerely hope I will be able to return and stay at Sun House again as there is much to explore and see.

It was a very well maintained and beautiful guesthouse and Hasmik and her husband were very kind. The breakfasts were really delicious with fresh ingredients. Yeghegnadzor is a great location. It’s close to the amazing Noravank Monastery and also the fascinating Areni 1 cave which is a must if you’re into ancient history. Hasmik’s husband took us to see many wonderful places. The kitchen was great, where we could do some cooking. There was also a shop with various groceries and fruit and vegetables nearby. We loved our stay in Yeghegnadzor!

If you want to experience true Armenia, then this is the right place for you. This is a family guest house, and you would feel welcomed from the first second you arrive. Everything is top notch, but most importantly, the hospitality of this familiy is unmatched. I felt like a family member, and food was delicious. They have homemade wine, have to try. I was the first one from Croatia in their guesthouse so they treated me extra special. Don't think twice and book this place.

We had such a lovely stay at this place and I wish we stayed more than one night. The room looks like in the pictures and the bed is very comfortable. Everything was extra clean, the bathroom was really sparkling. The view from the window is just stunninf. The highlight was the breakfast - amazing eggs, home made jam and a selection of other tasty dishes - and if I come again, I will make sure to try the lunch or dinner. The host was very nice and we had a warm welcome from her. I hope we get to stay here again one day.

normally I only make two types of reviews either I had a bad experience or the place was amazing. Areni wine cellar is definitely the second. we loved everything about our stay. we loved the fact you are in the same household as the family. It really makes it feel like you are staying with friends/ family rather than a b&b. We were able to do some cooking with Anna. Making Dolma which was amazing as it was our favourite food from Armenia and we wanted to understand how to make it. we also cooked some chicken (which I can’t remember the name of) but it felt like we were at home cooking with our parents. all the products were homemade as well and all tasted very delicious. They also have a wine cellar were we tried different wines and cognac. All made by Anna and her husband. Her knowledge about winemaking is very extensive and she tied the whole process into the local story. We wish we could have bought more wine in the end because it was so so so good. Anna speaks English and despite us not speaking any Armenian or Russian we were still able to receive a very warm welcome from her. Overall, if you only visit/stay in one place outside Yerevan it should be here. we really hope we can come again in the future.

Mariam was the star of this stay. A wonderful host that shared so much precious insight on Armenian culture, history and traditions. We chatted forever! The property is secluded and quiet which is exactly what we needed. There are a couple of rough patches driving up and the last few meters before the property is a dirt road but don’t let anyone scare you because it’s very easy to reach even with a very low clearance car as our rental. The food prepared for us for both dinner and breakfast was simply amazing. Tasty and earthy and home grown. Too bad we stayed only one night.
