The host is really friendly and welcoming, what makes you feel good straightaway. The room is really comfortable and clean, with a balcony to relax. We had a great sleep!! The buffet for breakfast and the possibility to sit outside is perfect! Only 5 minutes away from Altausersee and way cheaper than the surrounding housing, it's very convenient. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to choose again Alpenpension if I'm coming back to the region.

Absolutely lovely spot, the staff was great and we felt so welcome. They were also very accommodating with our dog. Plus, breakfast was delicious.

We only stayed for 1 night to have a chill day in between hiking. Definitely worth it. We slept like babies. It was very comfy, clean and pretty. The owner is a super nice, friendly and a helpful man!

This stay can really be called a home away from home. We were at home with the friendliness of the staff, the home-made breakfast and the room was just totally above what we expected. This home gave us the actual feeling of living in an Austrian village. Away from the hot spot tourist of Hallstatt. At night it became so quiet and peacefully.
