a) The host Family Leitner allowed us a late check-in despite Restaurant closing-hours around 21:00, they said no problem. b) Mrs. Leitner had kept a lost item for me from my last stay, i had'nt even thought of I copuld have lost in this place. lovely. c) Mr.Leitner cooked me some fluffy scrambled eggs upon request, which was ideal, because I don't do Carbohdrates any more (now from 1 year) and lost 12,5 kg of weight by this measure: no bread, no potatoes, no noodles, nothing from wheat or other regular grain ... !!! I feel so much better, no brain-fog, no leaky-gut, no IBS!

A wonderful traditional Austrian guesthouse in a picturesque Alpine valley, which is maintained in perfect condition, as if it had just opened. This is a great option for visiting Salzburg - the city is only 20 minutes away by car, but the price for a room in the high season will be much lower than for a hotel in Salzburg, even taking into account the expensive city parking. By the way, do not forget to drive to the top of the Gaisberg mountain on the way back, towering above the guesthouse - there are breathtaking views from there. I would also like to note the high professionalism of the family running the hotel - everything, from check-in to an excellent breakfast on the open terrace, is organized at an exceptionally good customer-oriented and businesslike level. Beautiful location, excellent condition of the rooms, enough parking for all guests, delicious breakfast with a view of the mountains and wonderful staff: this guesthouse is a place that left the most pleasant impressions in all respects.

Staying at Pension Elisabeth was a truly wonderful experience. The room had a lovely ambiance—it was located in the basement with direct access to a charming little garden, which made it feel very cozy and peaceful. A place totally beyond compare, and one of the few which looked better in real life than on photos! Perfect location - not just because of the incredibly beautiful lake it´s placed at - but also because of its proximity to all places and attractions one might like to visit (during our 10 days stay, we visited all of the famous likes and nature attractions, but we managed visiting all cute and charming cities nearby as well! Not to mention that Salzburg is only a 20 min drive away!) True idilic countryside experience, with modern elements and everything you possibly might need (don´t miss the sauna, it´s the prettiest I´ve ever seen and I´ve really seen a lot :-). The entire decoration with wood as the main element is impeccable and brings the feeling of utmost comfort and coziness. The owners - incredibly kind and friendly family - thought about each and every detail and you simply cannot help noticing it all. And of course, enjoying the fresh and organic food while overlooking the magical Hintersee during the breakfast is the cherry on top :-)!
