I had a fantastic experience staying here before and after my mountain trip to the Jamtalhütte. The location is perfect — peaceful and scenic, with easy access to the bus stop and local shops. My room was spotless and cozy, and the breakfast was fresh and energizing, just what I needed for my hikes and trail runs. A special bonus was the small but excellent sauna — perfect for relaxing after a long day in the mountains.

    The Backstuba was wonderful with wonderful hosts, we took a liking to them and would definitely stay here again, if the mountain was a little more suitable for us. Otherwise I have nothing negative to say about the place other than the noisy neighbors, but you can't help that I guess.

    We were very lucky, we had a room upgrade from from shared bathroom to en-suite. The hosts were very friendly, they gave us access to the Garage for the motorbike. The room was a great size and very comfortable, we immediately felt "at home". There was a balcony that we could use too. The bed was comfortable, we had a great nights sleep. We would stay again, it was so peaceful. Breakfast was good too, plenty to eat.
