Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.

This was an incredible find, and the most stunning property we stayed at during our trip in Bulgaria. We were looking for a place to break up our drive from Sozopol back to Bucharest and, wow, are we ever glad we stayed here! The value was nothing short of amazing. Our host was kind and also provided breakfast. Just a few minutes from Madara Archaeological site, too.

We liked the hotel building, garden and the restaurant. The breakfast was delicious and various - we had 2 types of banitsa and mekitsi with home made jam :) The surroundings were quiet. The staff is very polite. The air is clean.

It was one of the best accommodations I stayed in. Extremely beautiful and very very cheap for what it offers. It all looked great and it is perfect for a visit in Shumen area.

Nice, quiet location, comfy bed, very detailed oriented - the bathroom drain had a lil lid so it wouldn't be smelly.
The caretaker has the most adorable miniature puppy.

Great location! Very neat and quiet! Sunrise over Madara is amazing to look at!
The accomodation itself is very nice and tidy. Has all you need for a perfect city getaway! Would definitely visit again!
