Stunning location, with beautiful sea views, very helpful and friendly staff, and delicious food (both breakfast and evening meals). Peaceful and relaxing and while only accessible by boat, easy to get to and from the village. It was exactly what I was looking for to escape and relax for a few days!

Casa Matatiso is a tranquil place with everything you'd want for a stay on Ilha Grande. Kitchen was really well-equipped, the room and property was clean. Beds are very comfortable. The outside deck has seating and a table plus hammocks. Recommend!

I really like the location and you feel like you are in the middle of a jungle- very authentic ☺️ The breakfast is amazing they have fruits, eggs and loooot of cakes 🎂 The staff was very helpful and nice They have outside shower which is very useful

In the centre of Ilha Grande, the Lonier Ilha Inn flats are located in central Vila Abraão. They are just 50 metres from the beach.

I spend 4 months in Brazil and Fauna was my favourite place. There is some kind of magic in the air here. The garden is filled with beautiful plants, full of hummingbirds and woodpeckers. Natalia makes everyone feel at home. You start your morning eating the best breakfast, while overlooking the stunning bay of Bananal. There are kayaks, snorkelling gear and supboards available, free of charge. You can spend your days here in the sun, swimming and spotting turtles. Sometimes there are dolphins in the bay. Natalia can help you go anywhere you want on the island. Lagoa Azul, Gruta do Acaia, Praia Lopes Mendez, all within reach. If you are looking for a place to stay on Ilha Grande to have the most perfect island getaway, look no futher then Fauna. You will create memories that will last forever.

The accommodation can be reached on foot via a hiking trail from Abraao (60-90 minutes - only with a backpack) or by boat. The host, Kayo, is super friendly. The location is paradisiacal! You have breakfast right by the sea. It's only a 60-minute walk to Lopes Mendes Beach. The accommodation was very clean. There's a mini-shop at the beginning of the beach, otherwise you'll have to bring food or buy something locally.
