Extremely friendly staff, everybody was speaking english so it was easy to communicate! Great breakfast, they can pack it for you if you have an early trip. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Clean bathrooms!

Everything is perfect for the values. The toilet is super clean for a hostel standard. I believe the cleaning staff did the cleaning several times per day. Love the friendly and nice staff. They are very responsive and give honest tips. The facilities and social events are impressive.

The best point for me: it was relatively quiet. There were many areas to sit and chill. Also the kitchen was adequate, I would have loved to see a blender.l though. My room was clean and bed comfy. Only had one room mate.The owner was very nice, went above and beyond to help.

After a 14 hours nightbus with no heat and only some cookies, and been dropped off at 7am in 3°C outdoor. I hardly walk to Hostal Qachi Chentura. Press the bell, staff invite me in well before check-in time, rapidly offer me a tidy clean and warm room. Even offer me free breakfast.🙏🏻 Truly kind and helpful.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped. The host was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in early and store our bags the next day before our evening flight. It was also good value for San Pedro de Atacama which is a very expensive area.

We had an amazing experience with this hostel. It was very clean and after 80 days of travelling thrue Chile we never experienced so clean rooms as here. It was also very quiet and if you want to relax we really recomend this place. A breakfast was also very good and the owner also gave us all the informations we need it. Great location, quiet and a little distance away from the town. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The breakfast is good and varies: sometimes bread, sometimes pancakes. 😋 The gardens are filled with places to sit and relax, to take in the pretty desert scenery. The lodge is at walking distance to Pukara de Quitor. We hired Ani’s bikes and took in some of the trails close to the lodge, including Quebrada del Diablo. Ani, her family and her staff are super friendly and kind. Nicky the dog is lovely too and enjoys the occasional ear massage. Ani made us a snack pack when we went out early to visit the geysers, complete with a lovely hand drawn message! We initially booked for three nights, but extended to a full week because there is so much to see in the area AND because the Lodge is inviting and peaceful. We were able to catch up on some much needed sleep. In short: Everybody worked hard to make sure that our stay was good, and it certainly was. We will DEFINITELY visit again and highly recommend Anka Lodge.

The owner is very hospitable and can give you very useful information on the city and its surroundings. A little away from the centre, a 10 minutes walk, it's then very quiet. It offers free parking, which was essential to us. Absolutely recommended!
