Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.

Great Hostal. It was very clean and the the girls that work there helped me a lot with the organisation of my trip to Ecuador. I absolutely recommend it!!

Super kind and friendly staff, the place is always kept very clean, a lot of shared space to chill, comfortable dorm rooms with curtains and walls for privacy, lockers for valuables, great location very close to the city plaza, fast wifi, really hot showers, there is plenty of space to park motorcycles and bicycles inside... it's a perfect hostel!

The hostel is centrally located in Ipiales near the central park. It is very clean, the style is hip and the beds are really big and comfortable. You can find everything you need nearby. The staff were also very friendly and happy to help with any questions. Anyone making a stopover in Ipiales (I highly recommend visiting the church in Las Lajas) should stay here.

Probably the best hostel in Ipiales. Cheap rooms, still very cosy and clean. Great value for the money. Really the only reasons to come to Ipiales is Las Lajas (definitely recommed, especially at night) and coming from/going to Ecuador. But for that purpose great place to stay.

Good hostel near the main square.. Modern and up to date. Can pay with card also. Breakfast included not much but better then nothing. Nice comfy beds with lots of blankets to keep warm. Receptionist was very helpful and told me how to get the local bus to las lajas and where to get cheap food
