The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room was great. The location was safe and there were many supermarkets and restaurants around. They communicated with us in English, which is rare in Medellin. The hotel staff called a taxi for us. At this price level, this hostel was the best.

I really loved this place. It's very quiet and peaceful (certainly compared to the hustle and bustle of Medellin). It's a bit of a walk to the nearest restaurant in Santa Elena, but that was fine by me. If you want a perfect place to decompress and just relax for a few days, this is definitely it. Carlos was very kind and accommodating, and Juan was very helpful and considerate, as well.
