The owners were very welcoming. The hotel is right across from the river with a nice view, although you can hear the street noise sometimes, it was not disruptive. It is a pleasant 2 km walk along the river to the next town which is very quaint with a Monastery, a castle and plenty of restaurants and wine bars. Also some very scenic hikes starting right outside the door. The breakfast room is open throughout the day to gather with friends and/or drink some wine purchased from the hotel. Breakfast had all the fixings of a continental breakfast and worth the cost.

A recently renovated guest house situated in Ernst, MOSELTEL Ernst, Cochem features free bikes. It is located 4.4 km from Cochem Castle and provides an ATM.

Everything is clean and looks well cared for, the kettle with cups really helped to enjoy our evening with a cup of tea. There is a big bathroom and a nice view on the mountains.

The room was good and everything I needed was provided. There was a parking spot right in front of the house. The host was very friendly, and communication was excellent. The breakfast room was beautiful – and the breakfast itself was delicious. The location was ideal, just a pleasant walking distance from the city center. Excellent value for money!

Fantastic location, extremely clean, great breakfasts, and the staff were so lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights staying here. Loved having a balcony to spend the evenings on with a bottle of wine from the hotel. Easy to find great places to eat each evening and parking couldn't have been easier.

Modern unit with amazing access to Cochem Castle, city center and the lovely Mosel River. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our visit. I liked the idea of the fold down beds as it was a space saver. Lots of little touches little shopping bag and umbrellas.

It had a beautiful view of the river and you could see the castle if you leaned out a bit of the window. It fulfilled my purposes of book writing perfectly, also because it was not on the main road where traffic is noisy. It was quiet with hardly any distractions.
