This is one of those places where you think "why have I not planned more days here?!". Big and spacious room, little details like water, small biscuits and even shoe polish in room, nice personell quiet place and wonderful (and big) shower.

Everything was great. Beautiful room, comfortable beds and a delicious breakfast with local eggs, homemade breads & jams. Ellen & Christoph are great hosts and made our stay a lot easier from local knowledge, providing bicycles, help drying clothes and a cup of tea after a wet cycle. They were very welcoming, considerate, and accommodating. All at a very reasonable price. The location is beautiful, from the view out the room to any direction you turn stepping outside, it was amazing scenery. A great spot for nature lovers, my morning vape in the front garden was a bird watching delight. Nighttime was quiet and with a little patience a few bats to see. Coming from the city, clear night's were amazing. With so much to see in the night sky! Cycling from Wahmbeck to Lippoldsberg via Bodenfelde is idyllic. There are a couple of great restaurants within a short cycle of the Landhaus all a very short distance from the idyllic Wahmbeck to Lippoldsberg journey. Both Lippoldsberg and Bodenfelde have supermarkets for picking up lunch water etc. for your cycles. Handy for any trips east or south.

One thoughtful gesture stood out in particular: a staff member prepared a special brunch box for me on the day of my early departure, as I was leaving before breakfast hours — a personal touch that I deeply appreciated. The breakfast, served in a cozy café with a serene garden view, was among the best I’ve had, thanks to its peaceful ambiance and quality offerings. The nearby palace and the Lisse Palmengarten added to the charm of the location — the palm garden, in particular, is the best-maintained one I’ve ever visited and is a true gem. This area seems like a haven for senior citizens, offering natural, health-beneficial acidic spring water and several charming springs scattered throughout the surroundings. The atmosphere is ideal for rest, relaxation, and wellness. Overall, I am truly happy with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat.
