We(me and my bf) had the pleasure of staying at Drachenfels Guesthouse for the second time, and we were once again delighted by our experience. This place has a charming and warm atmosphere, thanks to its tasteful use of wood, handmade furniture, and delightful decorations. The cute Christmas decorations added an extra home-like feeling. Our room was well furnished, featuring a comfortable bed and a bathroom. Additionally, the kitchen and living room provided a perfect space to unwind with a cup of herbal tea after a long day of skiing or exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible breakfast. The selection was great, offering a variety of delicious options such as cheese, wurst, vegetables, eggs, juice, coffee, and musli. Each morning, we thoroughly enjoyed starting our day with this breakfast. The staff at Drachenfels Guesthouse were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick, and their assistance throughout our stay was greatly appreciated. The location is near the bus station and within walking distance of various restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it even more convenient for us as we arrived by train. Based on our wonderful experience, I can say that Drachenfels Guesthouse will be our top choice for our next ski vacation. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I stayed at Sascha's Kachelofen for skiing. Everything was perfect! A variety of breakfast, lovely decoration, tidiness, and large space of the room, location of the hotel, staff...! Loved the warm welcome, the rooms were really clean, warm and comfortable. The big bed was separated into two single mattresses which kept slipping around during the night but other than that Suuuuper comfortable

They also gave us a free bus ticket link to Schrecksee, and since we didn’t have enough hiking poles, the hotel owner kindly provided us with some. The hotel and bedding were clean, and my parents said they would love to live in a place like this—it was that comfortable. They explained the bus route to Schrecksee in great detail late into the night so we could take our parents without any worries.
