The room was spacious and sparkling clean, especially the shower. Breakfast was nice and had a good selection. The staff was very friendly but didn't really speak English. The entire area is of course beautiful. Comfortable bed.

My husband and I had a perfect time at Haus Waldesruh. Even nobody couldn't welcome us in person, everything was perfectly organized with a letter in a box at the main entrance. So we could start directly in our relaxing vacation. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Our room (no. 5) was on the ground floor and came with a nice sitting area outside. We had a peaceful view towards the forest and with two steps and a turn to the right a view to the alps. The room has a modern but cosy style and clean. Each breakfast we found more than enough of different good food, juice and we got tasty coffee and cappuccino.

This peaceful guest house lies between the Chiemsee lake and the Alps, at the foot of the Hochgern mountain, one of the most beautiful lookout points of the Chiemgau region.

Our favourite place we stayed on our entire trip. It's such a beautiful home, and it feels like you're staying with friends. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and want to make sure you have a great trip. The breakfast is exceptional, truly. Easily parked out front every day. The town is lovely and peaceful, but close to the highway for ease of travel. It was a great base for Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, etc.
