The host was very friendly and waited patiently for us while we were delayed. The location and the view is superb. I spend hours reading a book on the lovely roof terrace. The area is also beautiful. We went to Cassiopeia Thermal Bath in Badenweiler, the route through the mountains is stunning.

We had a wonderful stay at Sternen! It’s a beautifully renovated, family-run hotel in the heart of the Black Forest. Arriving by car was easy—there are several parking spots right in front of the hotel, and a larger parking area just a couple of minutes away. The owners, Aleksandra and Michael, are the best hosts we’ve ever met. They were incredibly attentive and made us feel completely at home. Each morning, they prepare a delicious breakfast, and in the evening (upon request), they serve amazing dinners. If you’re heading out for a hike, they’ll provide snacks and sandwiches. The village where the hotel is located is peaceful and quiet, and the surrounding area is full of beautiful hiking trails. At night, you can lie back and gaze at a sky full of stars. Good information in advance, very nice, friendly and warm welcome by the host. The double room was fully equipped, including details such as multiple types of chargers. Very clear. Really an excellent stay! Location is on walking distance from restaurants and the Vitra campus.

I was gladly surprised by the warm and lovely atmosphere and the super comfy bed, duve og bed linnen. Also it was a Joy that there was a bathtub and nespresso machine! I highly recommend.
