Great authentic Bavarian gasthaus. Big room with balcony, modern bathroom. Very kind staff. Breakfast buffet with ample choice and fried eggs to order. Quiet surroundings but with walking distance of the very nice lake front park.

The owners added a unique touch to their Hotel with cosy decor, amazing homemade bread (delicious), fresh cheese, great fresh breakfast and dinner. The rooms were very cosy and clean. The bed was very comfy and cozy. Quite area. The location is not on the Tegernsee lake but very close by to drive or even hike (around 1h30min). We enjoyed our stay very much and will stay again for a longer time.

Incredibly comfortable apartment with a beautiful view of the mountains. Brilliant place to stay to explore the area, close to the lake and many hiking routes (including several literally on your doorstep). The people behind Haus Lesch are very accommodating. The bread service was an added bonus - having a nussschnecke or a croissant and a cup of coffee while enjoying the fresh air on the balcony was the best way to start the day. The place was clean, had comfy beds, and pretty much everything you need. We stayed for a week and perhaps next time we’d go for an apartment with a full kitchen but the kitchenette was fine to cook simple meals on (with several pots / pans and a few basic necessities included.). We will definitely go back here!

The location cannot be beat; mountains on all sides. The dining room is upscale rustic, very charming. Staff very friendly and helpful, food fresh and interesting. The most comfortable comforter on the bed that I've ever had. Loved that our room for 4 had a door for privacy for adults. Shower also great. We hiked Wallberg (bring spikes in winter), and did some sledding (we borrowed their wooden sleds). The whole weekend was cloudy at the lake but not where we were: above the clouds in the sunshine! Staff brought a nice cake for birthday, a surprise.
