Owned and managed by a delightful indigenous family who took the time to tell us about local life. Quiet location a bit outside of town, but within easy walking distance, even with kids. Despite the central location the guesthouse is extremely quiet, with no street noise. The room was huge and the beds were extremely comfortable- we had the best sleep we’ve had in a long time! The architecture is gorgeous, the photos just don’t do it justice! The guesthouse has everything you need for a comfortable short or longer term stay, including a well equipped kitchen if you would like to do some cooking. The host was very friendly and helpful. The room was ridiculously large, with three double beds, a sitting area, and a good bathroom with a nice hot shower. The shared kitchen had everything you need, there are a couple of common sitting areas, plus a rooftop with a small but lovely sitting area. View of the volcano from the roof.
