We look back fondly on a very special time at Kemet House. We stayed for four nights in a wonderful place with an incredibly friendly host and a warm, welcoming team. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the lovely patio, which was perfect for relaxing. There were also plenty of options for activities, making it easy to explore the area at our own pace. We loved being on this side of the river, away from the more touristy areas. Everything was perfect.

Run by a really friendly couple who went out of their way to welcome us. The rooms are mini apartments with comfortable furnishing and bed, fully equipped kitchens, TV and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was amazing, fresh local produce and plenty of it. They have a nice quiet rooftop area with a small pool The area is tucked away in a local residential area but very central - just around the corner from the large hotels like Iberotel and Winter palace and less than 5 minutes walk to the riverfront. Spacious house with a wonderful pool. The owner is very responsive. He helped us to arrange transfers and trip along the left bank of the Nile. There are many excellent restaurants nearby on the bank.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. We got a welcome drink upon our arrival and a member of the staff offered us a drive to the hotel when he saw us walking on the street to the direction of the hotel. The room was quiet, well equipped and clean. In addition, the bathroom was also clean and it was equipped with shampoos and shower gels. The breakfast was tasty and we could have as many coffees as we liked (which is an important point for a coffeeholic person like me :D). We could store our luggage for free at the hotel after the check out on our last day. After returning to the hotel in the evening, we got a towel and we could also chill near the pool and freshen up in the bathrooms before leaving to Cairo at night. We also booked a private felucca sunset tour with dinner through the hotel which was an amazing experience. The pickup was punctual and the food was really tasty. Our guide and captain Hamada was very friendly, talkative and he took great pictures of us. It was one of the best experiences during our time in Egypt. A big thank you to all! شكراً
