We look back fondly on a very special time at Kemet House. We stayed for four nights in a wonderful place with an incredibly friendly host and a warm, welcoming team. The atmosphere was calm and serene, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Our room was very clean and spacious. We especially enjoyed the lovely patio, which was perfect for relaxing. There were also plenty of options for activities, making it easy to explore the area at our own pace. We loved being on this side of the river, away from the more touristy areas. Everything was perfect.

Karima House is set in the West bank district of Luxor, 1.8 km from Medinet Habu Temple, 2.7 km from Colossi of Memnon and 2.8 km from Deir el-Medina.

We stayed at the Karima hotel for 2 nights. Since our arrival time in Luxor was early, the hotel owners, Karima and Ali, kindly allowed us to check-in early, which was a very nice gesture. The hotel's location is a bit far from the center, but it's in a wonderful spot, immersed in nature. Additionally, it is very close to the Valley of the Kings. You can enjoy your meals with a fantastic view of the Valley of the Kings from the hotel terrace. The breakfasts and dinners at the hotel are delicious and organic. Also, it includes local Egyptian dishes. The hotel owners, Karima and Ali, are very sweet people, and we had beautiful conversations with them. The other staff members were also very friendly, open to communication, and respectful, which made us feel at home. In short, the atmosphere in the hotel was amazing, and it was a very clean place. Furthermore, Ali and Karima organize tours and hot air balloon experiences for hotel guests, which made things very convenient for us. I am sure I will visit Luxor again one day, and when I do, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you for everything

The rooms are very clean. The owner Mr. Austin is a very nice and helpful person. They prepared breakfast for us since we had a bus in the morning. You won't find anywhere else in Luxor this good for this price.

Excellent choice!!! We really enjoyed our stay to the maximum (9 days), location is on the west bank 1m walk from the Nile on very beautiful and quiet spot full of Egyptian nature. The terrace is really nice and the people there make you feel like home. Every morning enjoy your breakfast at the terrace, ask Nasser (owner) any questions you might have and start your day with all the activities Luxor can provide or even better follow Karim (REAL guide) on an ancient Egypt tour. Thank you guys :)

Felt like home since the first hour. Incredibly beautiful oasis in the west bank of luxor. The family who runs it are the sweetest hosts, the food they make is NEXT level & the overall vibe is just so lovely with their dog and cats! (Plus the beds are one of the comfiest i slept in in whole Egypt) Tip: The location seems not central but its perfect!! Super close to the Valley of the kings and to reach the east bank you take the local mini van down to the river and then the local ferry setting u back to 35 pounds to reach the center of luxor (karnak temple luxor temple etc) . And your staying in the quiet part of luxor. No hassle around you.

The Banana Guesthouse was perfect and my stay there was a very happy one. The Manager of the property was so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He and his wife offered an exceptional breakfast each morning and I was sorry to leave. I strongly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Luxor area. The location is perfect and just a short distance from The Valley of the Kings and the other amazing temples close by. I thank them very much & send them my very best wishes for the future.
