Staff were SO helpful! So happy to give us all the tips on what to see and where to eat. Very welcoming. Basic accomodation was 'basic', but had everything you need and was clean and comfortable.

Excellent comfortable room/suite(101) in this small boutique hotel. Spotless and serviced daily. Continental breakfast provided in the room ( fresh sliced bread on your door every morning) topped up as needed. Great location near lots of bars and restaurants. We hope to be able to book here on our next visit to Mieres. 10/10

Good value for a clean large room in a separate building to the house on road. Had a small kitchen and outside a washing line to dry hiking clothes. 15 km from Gijon, good mid point break on an otherwise 30 km stage of the Camino del Norte. Two bars nearby at a similar 5 minute distance to eat, the easterly option has a menu of the day served from 8pm, whilst the other only has evening sandwiches but the westerly option opens from 5 am for breakfast.

Comfy beds in a brand new modern room. Kettle. Fluff towels. Left bags as arrived early and got notified when room ready and bags helpfully put in room for us. Great location only a few blocks from a wonderful beach.

Pensión ALBOR is nicely located in Gijón, 400 metres from San Lorenzo Beach and from Gijón promenade. Free WiFi access is available.

The receptionist was nice, even if it was a bit difficult communicating in English... It's good that you're given all the keys and you're indipendent: you can enter the hotel any time, also at late night/early morning.

Very well located, tiny and clean, the staff - fantastic - thank you!, comfortable beds. It's a stone throw from the very centre, about 15 minutes walk from the bus station. Located in the street with traffic, but at night it is quiet. I liked all - the conversation with the manager, the way he wanted to facilitate my needs, and small things like jellies or cosmetics. Definitely to go back.
