In a traditional townhouse with many windows and full of light even on rainy days , a stone's throw from two beautiful and clean beaches where you can actually swim, the room we had , had everything for a comfortable stay , working and a good night sleep. Bed is very comfortable too! Last but not least the owner is really nice and very kind. I would return everytime I would need a place to stay with eyes closed

Loved this place. I was there in winter but blessed with beautiful sunny days for hiking on trails with few people. Espasante itself is a beautiful town with a port on one side and lovely beaches on the other. The hotel has been a family run business for generations and it shows in the care they take. The mum is also a keen walker and gave me advice on how to make the most of the great hiking in the area from O Baqueiro back to Espasante and then from Carino to Cape Ortegal and San Andreas de Texeira. Highly recommend both hikes. My hosts gave me directions to take for buses and arranged for Feliciano (local taxi driver) to pick me up at the trail end. Feliciano I can also recommend. Really nice and insisted on a side trip on the way back to see the view from Mirador de Miranda. Magnificent 360 views. The son and daughter run the business during the day and both are really nice, fluent english speakers (which helped a lot given my limited Spanish). I understand they are very busy during the summer but my winter visit was fabulous. The room was simple but clean and warm. No complaints.

The hotel is right next to the beach, in the center of town. The rooms are clean, tidy and very comfortable. Just downstairs are several cafes/restaurants. You can walk from the front door of the hotel all the way around the beach. I loved it!
