We has the most amazing stay with jean-louie and hid wife. We stayed in the gite and it was absolutely wonderful a nice big bed for my 6ft + husband and air conditioning, Fully equipped and with its own private veranda. The facilities were wonderful the pool clean and really well kept. We had a great breakfast each morning and jean- Louis and his wife were wonderful hosts. The property is gorgeous with stunning views.

Owners very welcoming and helpful - always available to help and advise. Lovely homemade and local breakfast products. Jams made from owners garden. Very nice swimming pool and spa- plenty of shade available around pool and at our rooms. Spacious and comfortable rooms.

Lovely hosts, who gave useful tips for swimming spots. Delicious homemade breads/brioches/cakes/jams for breakfast, with local cheeses, yoghurt, juices and fruit. Beautiful views from the bedroom. The gardens were spacious, shady, beautiful - comfy deckchairs for lounging and tables for eating dinner. Fully equipped kitchen with oven/hob and microwave, fridge etc. The friendliest cat I have ever met too, which was a bonus. Great location - 15 mins drive from Pont D'Arc and kayak start point for the Gorges, 15 mins to beautiful villages of Vogue and Balazuc (great beaches for swimming). Couldn't have asked for a better stay!

Orry and Gaïa are fantastic hosts, very welcoming and friendly. The refuge is lovely and super clean. Walking distance from Gentiâne in case you plan a hike with a donkey. The food is amazing, made with love from local products. We highly recommend the Refuge Des Castagnols!

A very warm welcome set the stage for a fantastic relaxed stay. Our suite was large, clean and exactly as presented in the photos. The house is eclectically furnished and the atmosphere is so nice. It was like a home from home. The breakfast was delicious (and plentiful) and the simple dinner if you wanted it was with great fresh local produce and presented beautifully. The pool area is nice and the team are very welcoming to dogs, which was exactly what we needed.
