Welcoming by hostess. Despite our total lack of French we were able to communicate sufficiently to get all relevant information from her. Room was of very good size in the Parental set of rooms with an upstairs bathroom (and 2 additional single beds which we didn't need). The bathroom was of good size and shower very roomy and hot. Breakfast was included in the price and had fresh coffee & fresh bread/croissants. Local/home produced sheep or cow yoghurt, and homemade jams. Parking was outside on the street but we had no problems with this. There were a number of cats around.

It was a very nice place everything was lovely! Very good breakfast and nice surroundings. It was aircondition in the room. The owners was very friendly. It is a good place to stay when you are visiting Champagne.

Lovely, individual room, great bath and a very comfortable bed. Benjamin is a very good host, communicating well and making sure the place was welcoming.

Au Clos du Lac is so much more than just a place to stay on your travels. It has the warmth, comforts, and safety of home where all considerations of fine detail are so beautifully put together by the wonderful host, Anaïs. We are so pleased that we booked our stay at this exceptional Bed & Breakfast. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable. The breakfast was sensational everyday and far exceeded anything we have experienced on our travels! Just so delicious, nutritious, fresh and a great start to our day! Ohhhhh, and the home-made rhubarb jam is delectable. The bikes available for use are a wonderful touch that we enjoyed using daily to explore the area. The apartment was very clean and new - nice decor. The apartment was close to the center and also to the train station. the indications on how to arrive etc. were very clear and timely. Everything worked nicely.
