The house is absolutely unique and beautiful. The B&B section is three enormous rooms of the hosts very large house, with a fascinating history. There is also a fantastic terrace overlooking the garden. The location in the old town made everything we wanted to see and do very accessible.

We came to Le Puy en Velay for a Pilgrimage on the Chemin and wanted a last night before the walk with some private comforts. Arriving a bit earlier not a problem, earlier breakfast (because of church service) not a problem. Very pleasant atmosphere and very friendly host. Also with some functional English speaking for those who cannot speak French. A special ambiance because of the old building and decor.

    The host was genial, generous and a fascinating person to speak with, and he gave us excellent recommendations about places to go and restaurants. He gave us the best breakfasts imaginable, bringing us delicious local produce. The decor is totally old school, which we loved; the place really has heart and soul, you can sense its history. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, with fine quality bedding. The street is quiet, in a good neighborhood, and one could sleep well.
