We had trouble finding the location. The owner came to pick us up with his car. This never happend to me before. Very friendly and cosy accomodation. Breakfast included and everything was very clean. If we ever come back, this is the place to stay.

A very beautiful hotel, with a character and 500 year history which has been sympathetically enhanced by the current owners. Each room is individually decorated to give you a unique experience. If you are walking the GR10 you will enjoy the additional facilities, fridges in the room etc, and the owner's willingness to give you a good and early breakfast, to set you up for the day ahead. Paco even gave me his bike to explore the area after enough walking for one day! If your stay is more of a gentle tour, the village has a good restaurant, a lovely bar serving excellent sandwiches, and an unusual galleried and very ancient church. If I am ever back in the Basque country, this will be the hotel for me, 100%;🙂

It was amazing! We had a converted barn apartment with our own bathroom, two lofts with double beds, and a big downstairs double bed in an open space with balcony. Downstairs was a big kitchen and dining room and fireplace and living room, and a ping-pong table, and an outdoor picnic eating area, lots of grassy sitting areas. Fantastic dinner and breakfast. Gorgeous views over the valley of St Jean Pied du Port.

Idyllic location surrounded by hills with only the sounds of the countryside. Superb host, Iza has a passion for cooking, the homemade breakfast was delicious, only wish we'd booked early enough for dinner in the evening. Spectacular drive over the pass back to St Jean PDP.

Kari’s home was purposely built as a home stay hence all the rooms and bathrooms are perfectly laid out and a luxurious size. All six have views of the garden and the upper ones also look out to the mountains. Karti’s effervescent, bubbly personality made our stay the best of our six week French/Spanish trip. we booked for two days and stayed four. we had to leave as she was fully booked after that, but could easily have stayed a weeks as there is plenty to do in the extended pretty surrounding area. The village is only 15 mins away and if you can stay on a Monday the market is on which is fabulous.

The property is situated off the beaten track in a quiet village. Superb location and the most wonderful views. The hosts are so generous to welcome guests to use the facilities at their home including the pool, garden and outdoor pétanque. Everything is fastidiously clean. The interior is delightful with many curios and interesting pieces around which make it feel very welcoming. Guests are welcomed to come and go as they please.

The gite has all the facilities that you would need. Very nice view over the valley. The breakfast was delicious. For us as camino walkers it was a nice treat to be in such a comfortable place. In summertime the swimming pool will also be nice to enjoy
